Rick passed away unexpectedly and peacefully after a brief illness on December 5, 2016 in Austin, Texas.
Rick was born on May 29, 1954 in San Francisco, son of Rich and Peg (Donovan) Holl. Rick attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory, University of California, Berkley and Regis College in Denver. He enjoyed a successful career in Heavy Equipment and Machinery sales.
Rick was happiest in his kitchen cooking for family and friends. His great smile and bigger than life presence will be greatly missed.
Rick is survived by his wife, Paula Dukes Holl; daughters Megan and Emily Holl; father Richard Holl; sisters Kate Sullivan (John) and Eileen Holl. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. Preceded in death by his mother, Peg Holl and his brother, Bryan Holl.
Private internment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma, CA.
